Intensifying climate change poses a myriad of risks to human civilisation. Our cities, as the places where most of us live, are at the forefront of this battle for survival.
Anthropocene Analytics seeks to understand the vital infrastructure underpinning the complex system that is the city, and comprehensively assesses risks posed by climate disasters.
MODELING TO MITIGATE
We use geospatial data to build network models of our cities: Every building we could call home, and every piece of critical infrastructure that we might rely upon.
Using this information, we expose them to simulated disasters based on location-specific historical precedent, as well as those that loom in our overheated future.
